DETAILS ABOUT THE TOURS

Effort is made every year to make all trips the best ever.  For example, there was a recent rumour about a "Launch Pad" located at Patterson.  It was confirmed, and is now part of the tour.  As far we know, we are the only bus tour that goes there.

On The Bus
We have Kingdom Melodies and tapes to show on the bus as well as some approved worldly movies. The bus stops every few hours for meals and washroom breaks.  We do have wheelchair facilities at each and every building.

To Prepare
It is suggested that you get out your walking shoes way ahead of the trip to get in shape. There are days and places that you can take time off, however, the emphasis is on the Society Buildings.

Go to the bank and make sure you are set up for withdrawal in U.S.A. funds and that you know your Pin Number.  We recommend that you have about $400.00 more than you plan to spend, unless you have good self-control.  There is lots of shopping.  For example, there is a shoe store that usually averages one and a half pairs per person from each bus group.

This is a very full tour to get the max out of your dollar value but it is also a vacation. We have a great time every trip and you make friends on the bus and at every stop.
Don't bring too much clothing.  On travel days we do not have to dress up and people tend to buy more clothes en route and then notice that they have way too much.  We do a laundry stop on the 13 day tour at Pinebush.  Clothes can be washed in hotel sinks.  They are usually dry by morning, if hung to dry.

There is a store at the Harvest Inn that specifically has merchandise for Witnesses.  (It is Brothers that own the Inn.)

Eating and Stops
We try to pick the best restaurants available for the situation.  This is mostly fast food and sometimes we go to the grocery store to save you money.  Please keep in mind that there is a wide variety of Witnesses on each bus trip and we have found that most want to save money here and there.

Safety
The areas we go to are relatively safe as long as you use common sense.  The media paints a "dangerous" picture of New York or D.C., but we are not in areas of concern or out much at night.  Additionally, we are in a group of over 40 most of the time.
